Who are we?

We are a team of finance experts with many years of lending experience. We are here to make your finance journey easy, enjoyable and carefree. We look after everything from start to finish and even liaise with your agent, sales person and legal team.

Think of us as your old school bank manager, we want to build relationships that Last. So even once we have you all moved into that new house. We are always here to assist with rate reviews and any loan related aftercare.

A mortgage broker/ finance specialist is someone who shops around for the loan that’s right for you. We get all your info upfront, so we understand your full financial picture. This enables us to fit you with the right lender and correct product for you. We offer all types of finance so you don’t need to use all different banks and deal with various people. We have access to over 50 lenders and banks, It’s all done here under one roof! We don’t use bank jargon; we speak your language.

Our staff have years of experience and unlike a bank you’re not expected to be dealing with a computer! We have your back and we are here to make sure you get the right level service and the loan you have dreamed of!

When should you see us and what can you expect?

You can see us at any stage in your financial journey. You might still be saving for your first home, wishing to use the equity in your current one, or wondering if you’re still getting the right deal with your existing lender. You might want to start a new business or buy an existing one. You may need that new car or looking at a prime mover. We can assist with anything FINANCE!

You can make an obligation-free appointment with us at a time, either face to face or over the phone!

We will ask about your financial circumstances and objectives to find out what’s important to you. For example, flexibility might be important because you plan to start a family, or you may want ready access to equity for a rental property or renovations. Whatever your plans, we will research the market and recommend the right home loan, business or car loan to suit your needs. We work for you not the lender!

Billie is the director of Merchant Financial and has been our Primary broker since the company started back in 2011.

Billie likes to take the serious out of finance by making you feel comfortable with your journey. She has over 17 years finance experience and has been a Mortgage Broker since 2011. Billie comes from a small country town and grew up with her parent’s owning businesses. She has a passion for property purchase and likes to help you crunch the numbers when it comes to buying investment! Billie is a wealth of knowledge and always up for a chat! She has a passion for small business and loves nothing more than to assist you on your small business journey!

Billie has a gorgeous family of 4 with 2 young boys who keep her on her toes!

Her lending experience is vast she can assist with everything finance; from your first home or investment, a new car or large asset, right though to commercial finance and self-managed super fund lending!

With over 10 years of service as a paramedic—including working overseas in the humanitarian sector. I  have built a career around helping people during some of the most critical moments of their lives. Now, working as a lending assistant I bring that same compassion, calm, and problem-solving mindset to support families as they take one of life’s biggest steps: finding and financing their forever home.

A devoted mother to a daughter, I understand firsthand how important it is to create a safe and secure place to call home. My transition into mortgage broking was driven by a deep desire to continue making a meaningful difference this time, by helping individuals and families navigate the often confusing world of home loans with clarity and confidence.

By combining my strong work ethic, global experience, and a genuine passion for helping others, I am committed to guiding my clients with honesty, care, and integrity every step of the way.

I’m a 27-year-old Malanda local with a passion for helping people take control of their finances. I’m currently studying my Certificate IV in Finance and Mortgage Broking, and I’ve recently started working in the mortgage and finance industry—specifically helping clients lower the interest rates on their existing loans.

Whether it’s refinancing, negotiating with lenders, or simply reviewing your current loan to find a better deal, I’m here to help you save money and make the most of your financial future.
